This year has been a busy year for us. We will participating the Metaltech 2009 exhibition which would be held in PWTC from 6th May - 9th May 2009.

It’s this time of the year when the Chinese people would travel back to their home town for a reunion dinner. This is a tradition that has going on for centuries. My colleagues are no different. Some are from Penang, Perak and Negeri Sembilan. So for the non-Chinese, this would be a good time for some relaxation and some “muhibbah” spirit - visit their Chinese colleagues for angpows.

Our office would be closed from 24th January till 1st February 2009 for the Chinese New Year celebrations.

Work will resume on black monday - 2nd February 2009 

In any case, EWINS would like to take this opportunity to wish all Malaysians, Happy Chinese New Year. May the year of the OX brings health and wealth to everybody.

Year 2008 zoom past us quite quickly. This year we started with our website. These days information is a very powerful tool. We decided to use the internet to disseminate information about us, our products through our website. Related product information can also be downloaded from the product page.

On 28th December, our annual dinner was held in one of KL’s hotel.

Everybody had so much fun and all of us went home with a prize. The grand prize went to my colleague - Nordin. Congrats to him.

No matter who got the grand prize, everyone went home as a winner and all of us had a blast! Thanks a bunch to my colleagues that made all this happen.

Looking forward to next year’s annual party.

Ewins Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd was established in 1977 in Kuala Lumpur involved in importing of industrial hardware. Its nation-wide distribution network covers Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. 
 
For the past three decades, Ewins grew steadily mainly on supply of furniture fittings to the furniture manufacturing industries as well as supply and maintenance of builders’ hardware. 
 
In the recent years, Ewins has further diversified into surfacing materials, especially pre dyed veneers and HPL. These surfacing materials are largely used in commercial and residential projects.
 
Today, with a total workforce of 70 persons, we have two subsidiaries in Singapore. In Malaysia there are two subsidiaries with 30 persons working to serve different needs of the local market.
